Lu Gold Store has opened a new showroom in Abuja, giving customers in the capital a place to see, compare and buy electronics and home appliances in person.
The showroom brings the store's range under one roof, from televisions and audio to cooling, kitchen and home appliances, with staff on hand to help customers choose the right product for a home or an office.
It works alongside the online store, which serves customers across Nigeria. Customers can browse online, visit to see a product before they commit, and choose delivery or collection.
The opening continues a retail story that began with the group's first showroom in Calabar in 2013, and it rests on a simple observation: people buying a significant appliance want to see it first, and want to know the seller will still be there after the sale.
