Ardent Cooling has partnered with the Ministry of Agriculture to improve post-harvest storage in rural areas, bringing cooling and cold-storage solutions closer to the farms that need them.
A large share of produce is lost between harvest and market, much of it to heat and the absence of proper storage. Every crate that spoils is income a farmer never receives.
The partnership focuses on practical storage that keeps produce fresh for longer, giving farmers more time to reach buyers and a better chance of selling at a fair price.
It builds on post-harvest storage work Ardent Cooling began in 2019, and it is where the company's cooling expertise meets one of the country's most pressing agricultural challenges.
